Wilf

Sunday 9.30am - St. Wilfrid's Church Pevensey Bay

Our main Sunday service at 9.30 am at St. Wilfrid's is usually a service of Holy Communion using the Common Worship Liturgy. We hear readings from the Bible, hymns are sung, we pray for our community and world, and we share Communion together. We are supported by a pianist and occasional instrumentalists.

During this service, all Baptised Christians are invited to receive the consecrated bread and wine that we believe to be the life giving Body and Blood of Our Lord Jesus Christ. You are also welcome to receive a blessing if you do not take Communion.

Children are a vital part of our worshipping community, and are genuinely very welcome at all our services. We are currently building up our provision for Children and Young people and would welcome your input as to how we can more effectively meet the needs of the next generation of Christians! The Baptism of New Christians may be celebrated during our Sunday Worship.

Occasionally, a service of Morning Prayer may be offered at St. Wilfrid's lead by our Licensed Lay Minister Jan. Refreshments are offered in the hall after the service.

St Nic

Sunday 11.30am - St. Nicolas' Church Pevensey

The Parish Holy Communion is celebrated at St. Nicolas' Church according to the liturgy of the Common Worship. The service is conducted within the Catholic Anglican tradition, incense is used, and due reverence is given to the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ in the Sacrament of the Altar.

Hymns are sung accompanied by our organ and choir, we listen to readings from the Bible, and we share Communion together. If you are not Baptised, you are welcome to receive a blessing instead.

We have a small children's area to the side of the church however children are most welcome in the service.

The Sacrament of Baptism may be celebrated during the Parish Holy Communion.

Refreshments are offered at the rear of the Church after the service.
