Safeguarding

Both Saint Nicolas' and St. Wilfrid's are happy and inclusive churches, and we are pleased to welcome a wide age range of worshipers to our services. 

The safety and well being of all members of the Church is of paramount importance to us, and especially the safeguarding of Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults.

To this end, our PCC (Parochial Church Council) has, in accordance with Diocesan and National Guidelines, appointed a Safeguarding Officer to oversee all areas of Safeguarding within the Parish.

All members of the church that are involved with work with Children, Young People and Vulnerable Adults are in possession of an up to date DBS record and work to 'the best practice' detailed in our; Behaviour Code.

The use of Social Media and other Online activity has become a major part of all our lives, and especially the lives of our young people. Our online safety police can be found here; E- Safety Policy
