A very warm welcome to the Ancient Parish of Pevensey

We are a parish of two churches, St Nicolas' Pevensey and St Wilfrid's Pevensey Bay

We are delighted to announce that the Rev’d Michael Rose, formerly Associate Priest in the Diocese of Canterbury and serving in The Parish of Denswood, has been appointed to the post of House for Duty Priest in Charge of the Parish of Pevensey in the Diocese of Chichester.

The Licensing Service will be held on the 22nd October 2026 at 7.30 p.m. at St Nicolas Church, Pevensey and will be led by The Right Reverend Will Hazelwood, Bishop of Lewes with the installation by The Venerable Russell Dewhurst, Archdecon of Hastings, followed by refreshments. All are welcome.
